The Marketplace Ministry Training is a 5 week course.  
This course covers the following topics:

  • What does Marketplace Ministry look like?
  • What is a Prayer Box Ministry?
  • Evangelism in the Workplace
  • Discipling Co-Workers
  • Counseling and Ministry application in the Marketplace

HOMEWORK SYLLABUS


Week One
•        Read chapters 1-7,  The 9-5 Window . Write out the most meaningful quotes from each chapter. Be prepared to discuss.  
•        Read section 1 (Guidelines for Marketplace Ministry) and section 2 (What does Market Place Prayer Look Like)
•        Write ½ page paper reflecting on the following prompt:
“What is your Marketplace Ministry?”

Week Two
•        Read chapters 8-15, The 9-5 Window . Write out the most meaningful quotes from each chapter. Be prepared to discuss.
•        Read Section 3 (The Role of Biblical Discipleship)
•        Write ½ -1 page paper reflecting on the following prompt:
“What vision has God had laid on your heart for your  
Marketplace Ministry?”

Week Three
•        Read Chapters 1-6, Anointed For Business. Write out the most meaningful quotes from each chapter. Be prepared to discuss.
•        Read Section 4 (How to Share Christ)
•        Write a ½ -1 page on the following prompt:
“How do you see implementing God’s vision regarding your
 Marketplace Ministry?”

Week Four
•        Read Chapters 7-12, Anointed For Business. Write out the most meaningful quotes from each chapter. Be prepared to discuss.
•        Read Section 5 (How to Provide Biblical Guidance)
•        Write a 1 page reflective paper considering the following prompt:  “What has been your experience of this class? What are you taking away
from the training? What areas of Marketplace Ministry would you like more discipleship in?  Closing thoughts.”

Week Five (no homework)
